Fahad Raja anchored the Stoke Green innings with an unbeaten 30 from 79 deliveries, an innings built on patience rather than aggression, finding just three boundaries during his stay. Raja was involved in both significant partnerships, putting on 25 for the first wicket with Abbasi before adding 45 for the second with Sher. His willingness to occupy the crease gave the home side a platform, though the scoring rate of just over three runs per over reflected how well Sonning had bowled as a unit.

When play was halted, Stoke Green had reached 79 for 2 from 24 overs, with Raja joined by Kavijot Singh, who had faced just five balls for his one run.
