All equipment at training sessions is provided by the club.
U9s
Matches are played using an Incrediball.
Required player equipment: abdominal guard (box), cricket bat
Optional suggested player equipment: batting gloves
Equipment provided by the club: Wicket keeping gloves
U11s / U13s
Matches are played using a 4 3/4oz junior hard ball.
Required player equipment: Batting pads, batting gloves, batting helmets, abdominal guard (box), cricket bat, a named 4 3/4oz junior hard ball for use at training
Optional suggested player equipment: thigh pads, arm guard
Equipment provided by the club: wicket keeping gloves
U15s
Matches are played using a 5 1/2oz hard ball.
Required player equipment: Batting pads, batting gloves, batting helmets, abdominal guard (box), cricket bat
Optional suggested player equipment: thigh pads, arm guard
Equipment provided by the club: wicket keeping gloves
Whilst club helmets are made by reputable manufacturers, and were fit for purpose at the time of purchase, we do not guarantee that they confirm to the latest safety standards (BS7928:2013). If players/parents are concerned, they should look to purchase their own helmets.
