Our Grounds

Sonning Cricket Club has two main venues for matches and training. Our main ground is King George's Field in Sonning, and our 3rd XI and 4th XI play at Waingels College in Woodley. Please check your match details to confirm which ground you should be attending.

King George's Field

Main Ground

Address: King George's Field, Pound Lane, Sonning RG4 6XE

Used for: Saturday home games for the 1st and 2nd XIs, all Sunday home games

Details: Club's main ground and location of the Club House, next to Sonning C of E Primary school

Directions

Approaching from the A4 turn into Pound Lane at the Woodley/Sonning roundabout towards Sonning village. After approximately 250 yards you will reach a zebra crossing -- turn left immediately after this crossing, into Liguge Way. The car park for King George's field is immediately on the right.

Parking Information

Free parking is available at the ground in the dedicated car park. Please park considerately as the car park is shared with other users of King George's Field. On busy match days, overflow parking may be available - please follow signs or instructions from club members.

Public Transport

The nearest bus stop is on Pound Lane, a short walk from the ground. Reading Railway Station is approximately 4 miles away, from where you can take a taxi or bus to Sonning.
