Goring produced the performance of the day as they thrashed Sonning 2nds by six wickets.
Sohail Aslam made half of his side's total as Sonning were bowled out for just 80.
Martin Hodges (4-31) and Darren Clark (4-30) were Goring's bowling heroes as they ripped through the Sonning line-up. Goring then suffered a couple of scares in reply but eventually claimed a 29-point victory on 81-4.
