Warfield CC's Sunday XI secured a comprehensive 117-run victory against Sonning Sunday As at The Memorial Ground, with veteran Graham Morris delivering a devastating spell of bowling that saw the visitors bundled out for just 57.

After winning the toss and electing to bat, Warfield posted a competitive 174-8 from their allotted 40 overs. Captain Madhav Kalli led from the front with an impressive 61, forming the backbone of the innings. He received solid support from Owen Stanford, who contributed 33 in a vital second-wicket partnership.

Sonning's Mike Eaton was the pick of the bowlers, claiming 2-20 from his eight overs, including two maidens. Adil Malik also picked up two wickets, while Gift Kwatsha and Connor Wardlaw chipped in with one apiece. The fielding unit backed up their bowlers with two run-outs, helping to restrict Warfield's total.

Facing a target of 175, Sonning's batting lineup crumbled against the home side's bowling attack.
