Sonning Women's 1st XI secured a convincing win against Emmbrook & Bearwood at King George's Field on 10th May, chasing down their opponents' total of 80 with considerable ease in this Super 8 Development Group 4 fixture.

Captain Michaela Herrett won the toss and elected to field first, a decision that proved astute as Sonning's bowling attack restricted the visitors throughout the 16-over contest. Belle Myers was the standout performer with the ball, claiming three wickets from her three overs, though she was expensive at times with 11 wides among her 21 runs conceded.
