Sonning Stingers Soft Ball delivered a commanding all-round performance to defeat Earley CC by 33 runs in the WSB Cup on 28 April, chasing down their opponents' total of 73 without losing a single wicket and posting an impressive 106 in reply.

Captain Katie Barrows won the toss and elected to field first, a decision that proved inspired as the Stingers' bowling attack kept Earley's batters largely in check throughout the 16-over innings. The home side struggled to build any momentum, with most of their top and middle order failing to make significant contributions. Ritu managed just 3 from 13 balls at the top of the order, while Bramoda was restricted to a single run from 15 deliveries as the Stingers maintained excellent discipline.

The one exception for Earley was Ash A, who batted at number eight and produced a spirited knock of 24 from 17 balls, striking four boundaries to provide some late impetus to the innings.
