Sonning Women Secure Comfortable Victory Over Wargrave at Kings Field

Sonning Women's 1st XI claimed a well-deserved victory over Wargrave in their Super 8 Development Group D fixture at Kings Field on 22nd May 2022. Captain Sharon Fleming won the toss and opted to field first, a decision that ultimately proved sound as her side restricted the visitors before chasing down the target with relative ease.

Wargrave's innings got off to a brisk start thanks to opener Kaelin Dell, who top-scored with 24 from just 19 balls, striking three boundaries in an aggressive display at the top of the order. However, Sonning's bowlers worked hard to peg back the scoring rate through the middle overs.
