Match Report
Great weather, competitive opposition and a maiden 100 Not Out from Jags Beniwal comprising only 12 singles and 3 sixes helped Sonning to 275 of 40 overs. With a supportung 44 of Charles and 46 of Syed and everyone else scoring the target set was 276 to win. The visitors early batting was strong and they kept on our run rate so up to 20 overs the game held very much in the balance. With 2 wickets each from Sunny, Jacob, Kabir (for 11 runs) and Syed for (8 runs) and one from Jagz kept us on track for the win. Also big thanks to Matt Oxley for a strong determined session against some aggressive batting.Our fielding was tight and with all catches taken on the day as the proverb says "They Wins Matches" a great all round effort.
