Match Report

At the other end of the table Sonning continued their charge towards their third title in four seasons with another devastating display.

This week's victims were Sand-hurst who found themselves on the end of a seven wicket hammering after being skittled out for just 126.

Ghulam Abbas (3-28) and Andy Benning (3-27) bagged the wickets to set Sonning on their way before Mark Richards hit an unbeaten 80 as Sonning surged to victory at 127-3.

However, Sonning skipper Gary Phillips felt his side were a little fortunate with the bat.

He said: "We bowled and fielded well but if the truth be known we didn't bat brilliantly. Simon Hards bowled very well for them and Mark Richards struggled against him, playing and missing on numerous occasions."

Sandhurst skipper Chris Pharo, who aided his side's downfall by running out three of his teammates at the end of the innings said: "We were hopelessly outclassed."

This week Sonning entertain in-form Swindon Nalgo who overcame defending champions Cavaliers by four wickets in a high scoring clash.
